Ordering

We proudly stand behind our pieces and the work done by our jewelers.  If for any reason there is an issue with your piece or the work that has been done, we will happily work with you to resolve and correct the issue.  At this time, we do not offer guarantees on watches or work performed by other jewelers.

Yes, we offer layaway on all of the items we sell online.  Typically layaway plans are four payments spread out over the course of four months.  Please contact us, and we'll work with you to set up a layaway plan to meet your needs.

Semi-mounts are made to order and take 2-3 weeks production time before shipment.  If you require your piece before a certain deadline, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your needs.

Shipping / Returns

Most items will be shipped USPS Priority Mail or USPS Express Mail, with tracking, signature, and insurance included.  FedEx is available upon request and for an additional fee.

Please allow a processing time of 3-7 days for all regular, non-custom items.  Custom items (including sizing) have a 2-3 week processing time.  After processing, shipped items should take 1-3 business days to arrive.

If you require your piece before a certain deadline, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your needs.

If you receive an item and decide it's not what you had in mind, you can return it for a full refund within 10 days.  The 10 day refund period begins the day you sign for the package.  All returned pieces must be in the same condition as was sent to you.  No jewelry will be accepted for return if it is damaged, altered or worn.  We also offer a 30 day store credit exchange policy for any item in the store.  Items purchased through our payment or layaway plans are eligible for store credit (exchange) returns only.  Refunds will not be given for items purchased through layaway.

Yes, in most cases, you can return a ring you've purchased even if we've sized it for you.

Customization / Sizing

We offer sizing on most of our rings.  If the ring is an eternity band, has a continuous pattern, or if the ring has to change more than 3 sizes, please contact us so we can be sure sizing is possible.  Upon checkout, please make note of the size you need your ring to be, or contact us before ordering.  If you need your ring sized, please allow a total 5-7 days processing before shipment.  Please contact us first if you need the ring by a certain date, and we will work with you to meet your needs.

For any rings over $1,000, we size for free.  If the ring is under $1,000, please contact us and we're happy to quote you for the sizing, or we can invoice you after the purchase.  Sizing a ring down in size is typically $18 for items purchased through us.  Sizing up is $18 plus the cost of any additional materials.  If you need your ring sized, please allow a total 5-7 days processing before shipment.  Please contact us first if you need the ring by a certain date, and we will work with you to meet your needs.

Yes, we have an extensive gem collection.  Please contact us if you are interested in a particular stone.

If you are interested in buying a mounting without a stone, we have a beautiful collection of semi-mounts from both our Elizabeth Henry and Mother’s Jewelry lines.  At this time, we do not offer vintage and antique semi-mounts.

Yes, in addition to the semi-mounts we offer, we can work with you to design a custom piece tailored to your specifications.  Please contact us for custom quotes and more details.

Yes, we can modify existing pieces to create something entirely new.  Please contact us for more details.

Repairs

We will give you a call as soon as your jewelry is finished and ready to be picked up.  If you would like to know the status of your repair, please call the store where you dropped off the piece.  Click here to find your store.

All of our bench jewelers work on-site at our Dover location, and service all of our retail locations.  When you drop off a piece to be repaired, it is hand delivered to our workshop, so you can ensure it will be treated with care.  Battery replacements are serviced in store (all locations) while you wait, however watch repairs are sent out to a specialist offsite.  Read more about our repair services here.

Buying, Selling, & Appraisals

At this time, we only buy or trade jewelry in our retail locations.  Stop in any time, no appointment necessary.  Learn more about the process of selling your jewelry by clicking here.

Stop into any of our store locations to sell your jewelry, no appointment is necessary.  We buy gold, platinum, sterling silver, diamonds, pearls, wrist and pocket watches, gold & silver coins, and costume jewelry.

When selling your jewelry to us, no appointment is necessary.  All of our staff are trained to buy jewelry.  Relax and browse our selection while you wait.  Learn what to expect by clicking here.  For formal written appraisals (for insurance purposes, etc), you can drop off your pieces at one of our stores.  Typically appraisals are finished in a week.  For more information about appraisals, including pricing, please stop into any of our store locations.
